Tanzania Pishori; A very aromatic rice, mostly popular for it’s strong aroma. The rice also requires a lot of attention in cooking, as it tends to cake. It should be cooked in low heat at 1.5 part water instead of 2 part water ratio to rice as in the other variety. Our TZ Pishori does not have the white stone which can be a challenge in pre-cooking sorting with other TZ Pishori rice suppliers, as tiny white stones are difficult to separate the broken rice. So be careful whom you buy your TZ Pishori from, unless you enjoy removing tiny white stones from your rice.
